“The Internet User,” Netflix successfully adapts a landmark of Argentine comics

The series based on the legendary Argentinian comic book "The Eternaut" was released on Netflix on April 30th. The adaptation of this landmark of science fiction literature was highly anticipated in its home country. It did not disappoint the press, who hailed it as a challenge met and an updated version of the post-apocalyptic tale.

The latter even calls it an “odyssey” : “The desire to adapt this work, during all this time, has been unattainable. From the 1960s, when several cartoon projects were hatched, to the numerous attempts in Argentine and international cinema, the franchise of The Eternaut has represented a technical and creative challenge.”
